Knowing what to add to your collection is key in building a great closet. It can also help in making your mix and match experience easier. In this post, I would like to introduce you to two of my favorite pieces that I have picked up over the Christmas holidays; The Sandro Mina Top and the Sandro Janet Skirt.
Sandro Mina Top
The Sandro Mina Top is not just your simple white top. There are so many elements and features to this top that makes it an outstanding and eye catching piece, not to mentioned easily paired with other items. The design on the shoulder is what caught my attention the first time I saw this top. Sandro Tops are very unique in their design which is the main reason I had always been drawn to this designer, not to mention the great quality and fit. Another element to this top is the intricate design weaved within the frills on the shoulder which adds dimension and flare to this piece. I particularly like that the sleeve is transparent as it gives it a more elegant vibe. I look forward pairing this Sandro Top with jeans and a pair of red heels (still on my wish list) for a more casual and chic vibe in the summer. The options of places and events to wear this Sandro Mina Top is endless, especially if you want to make an impression. Although I had bought this top for work, I would reserve it to more fun 🙂 outings such as coffee dates, brunch, shopping, traveling etc.
Sandro Janet Skirt
This Sandro Janet Skirt is a fashionable navy blue velvet skirt that screams attention. The front zippers, although not functional, is what makes the Janet Skirt an outstanding piece when compared to other skirts. However, I must admit, that this particular Sandro Skirt will not allow you the endless options for mixing and matching, when compared to the Sandro Mina Shirt above, but will allow some pairings that will make amazing and eye-catching outfits. It is a very beautiful piece on its own and it will make a statement with any outfit. With its party vibe, I would be reserving this skirt for more fun outings such as dinners, parties, brunch. I may either pair it with a white T-shirt and a Hermes Scarf in the summer….perhaps a future blog post idea :).
